Before advertising, I co-founder, acting member, and resident playwright at Mad Cat Theatre Company, where I wrote nine plays.

That decade in theater is the thing that makes the rest of this work. It taught me how people actually think, what makes them lean in, and when to cut a line that isn't landing. I write for how a room really responds, not how a brand wishes it would.

My specialty is taking a tangled idea and finding the plain, human version of it, the one that sticks. I've done that for global and local brands: Coca-Cola, Virgin Voyages, Remy Cointreau, Atlantis Resort, Blink Fitness, HanesBrands and Bugaboo.

I've also led creative teams, and the part I'm proudest of is the people who got sharper working alongside me.

When I'm not writing, I'm at a concert, in a museum, doing karaoke, telling a joke, telling a story, or wandering Central Park. Want to know more? Ask. I'm an open book.
